Basically, I tried a $50 Dlink router, and failed. I tried a $100 Linksys router, and failed. My ISP is Shaw and no 3rd party router seems to work with it. I connected my Shaw Surfboard Cable Modem to the Internet port on my Router, and connecting Router Port 1 to my Desktop's Ethernet port. I talked to support multiple times with no success.
